Q: If you had a superpower what would it be?

My superpower would definitely have to be to eradicate greed!

I believe the world has enough resources to provide for everyone at least 3x as much. If we only knew how to be less greedy and instead, be more compassionate the world would be a better place. This I believe requires a superpower to do!

Q:  What is your number one go to pressure cooker recipe?

Definitely ribs. Ribs done correctly in the pressure cooker are as good or better than most restaurants.  That said, it’s important to note that a ribeye in a sous vide followed by a nice char in a cast iron skillet can challenge the ribs for the top spot when cooking at home.

Andy Roane

Managing Partner

Andy brings more than 20 years of human capital industry experience to Arpeoh, including senior leadership roles at Bayard RPO, Yoh RPO, and PeopleScout where he led the RPO business units as well as successful RPO engagements with multiple Fortune 500 companies. He also served as Managing Partner of ITB Recruiting, a sales and IT recruiting firm, and developed new sales channels in his role as Vice President of Sales for Monster.com. In his spare time Andy enjoys spending time with his family, watching the various Chicago sports teams, finding and sampling Chicago’s best pizza.  When possible he tries to spend as much time north of the Illinois border at the lake wakeboarding, sailing, kayaking, and paddle boarding.

Q:  Best Chicago Pizza?

It’s hard to beat Lou Malnati’s.  There is a lot of discussion about the best pizza…New York versus Chicago, thick versus thin, and square cut versus triangle. People miss the point.  Pizza is not like a burger or dog, one has to relish in the variety and find the best of a particular type.  Besides Lou’s, I try to mix it up with Pequod’s, Burt’s, Piece, and of course you can’t leave out Barnaby’s.
